The IIT-Jammu, being an Institution of National Importance, enjoys
autonomous status. While it offers the IIT-Jammu PG Certificate
programs online, it is in accordance with the institute's charter,
thereby not falling under the purview of UGC/AICTE guidelines.
The faculty involved in this program hail from eminent institutions
like IIMs, IITs, NIITs, and IIITs. They are coupled with industry
experts boasting a minimum of 10 years of rich, relevant experience
in the industry.
The classes are scheduled to be held three days a week (Friday to
Sunday). In the event a student misses a lecture, they can access
the recorded sessions to catch up, offering a level of flexibility
in learning.
The program is delivered online through a dedicated Learning
Management System which facilitates seamless learning experience,
including the delivery of lectures and distribution of learning
materials.
Examinations are conducted online and encompass a variety of
question formats including MCQs, case studies, and descriptive
questions, allowing for a comprehensive evaluation of the student's
understanding and learning.
The application fee for enrolling in the program is Rs 5,000.
The total duration of the program is 6 months. Currently, there are
no options available for an accelerated completion track.
